Are you fascinated by the Tarot? Maybe you own a deck or two and wonder how to utilize them? The books, although informative for the most part, can be intimidating to the novice.
This class gives you the history of the Tarot, along with exploring numerology and elemental connections that will help you understand the messages of the cards. We will also discuss how to connect with your own intuitive psychic abilities. We will discuss some spreads, and how to use the cards for self discovery.
Bring your deck if you have one. (Though a Ryder-Waite or one based on those images, like the Mary Hanson Roberts deck, will help you follow along.) Don’t own a deck yet, the store will have some available to purchase. I also suggest looking into the Pictorial Key to the Tarot by Arthur Edward Waite. Sara will try to have a couple copies of that available as well.
About your instructor. Drake received his first deck in 1978 and practiced reading on the various prehistoric creatures of that era. He has been teaching Tarot and doing readings since the mid 80s. He believes if you are drawn to the Tarot you probably have the empathic traits necessary to excel.
